I almost screamed when I saw the editorial "Like A Movie" in Vogue Italia's September 2010 issue. Starring model Elisa Sednaoui and photographed by Miles Aldridge, the 1962 thriller Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? is perfected captured. When I first saw this movie I was terrified. This past weekend, Tina and I drove to Madison to visit a few vintage stores. We only  bought a few iems, but we had quite the time trying on clothes, searching the racks, and surveying the city. Here are some shots of the day. Hope you like them!

A grueling day was spent yesterday producing and completing a Violetville photo shoot. Shot at The Gobbler, a now defunct roadside supper club in Johnson Creek, WI, the boss of it all and I braved dust, mold, and grime to capture some pretty amazing images. I have been obsessed with this particular style lately that I'm still trying to put my finger on - it's part whimsy/fairytale/fantasy and part dutch schoolgirl. It's the reason why I've been feverishly stocking up on Swedish Hasbeens and stalking Icelandic designers.

When people ask me to describe my style, I will now say, "Swedish." It makes sense. I'm of Swedish Viking descent and, standing six feet tall, I am basically walking advertisement for the country.
